Felix Münch

APS Fellow 2018/19

Since October 2018, Felix Victor Münch is an APS Fellow with a research project that centers on computational social media analysis. Felix completed his PhD at the Digital Media Research Centre at Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia). For his PhD project (finished February 2019), he developed a methodological framework and explored methods to make network science more useful for large scale media and communication studies of a networked public sphere. With a B.Sc. in Physics (LMU, Munich, Germany), a M.A. in Journalism (LMU and German Journalist School, Munich, Germany) and work experience in online media brand communication as a UX designer and strategist, his main fields of interest are network science methods, big social data, online media, and public sphere theory.
